21st December 2008 Windsurfing: Brog Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 4-5 Surf / Sea State: 1' to 18" chop Air Temperature: 10.5C Sea Temperature: 5.2C Weather: Sunny whole Day Max Speed: Distance Covered: 5 star. Who'd have believed it? Fully powered up on the 5.7 and could have changed down and gone to 4.7 like John mich and Dave were. No significant holes in the wind either as it was so sunny a day. Wow. Probably one of th best days this year. OK a bit chilly in the water but nothing to worry about. Did loads of massive full power gybes. In the chop I was hopping and jumping it was good fun. Did one nearly loop attempt and a couple of failed wymaroos. still I'll keep on trying. Superb. |
